Settings

Overview

Settings is organized into focused pages, accessible from Admin > Settings in the left sidebar. Workspace admins use Settings to manage billing, members, identity, access policy, AI models, API keys, data management, review policy, and audit logs.

Billing

View and manage your subscription:

• Current plan name
• User seat limits and usage
• Pricing and billing frequency
• Trial period or current billing cycle dates
• Upcoming payment information
• AI Unit allowance, usage history, and top cost drivers
• Storage estimate and storage snapshot status

Members

Manage your organization's members:

• View active seat usage against the plan limit
• Invite new members
• Count pending invitations before sending new invites
• See all members with name, avatar, email, and role
• Change member roles between Admin and Member
• Remove members from the workspace

Security

Manage self-serve workspace access:

• Add and verify allowed email domains with DNS TXT records
• Choose access mode: invite-only, request access, or auto-join verified domains
• Require Microsoft sign-in for selected verified domains
• Require a verified domain before access can be granted
• Approve or deny verified-domain access requests
• Review Microsoft Entra assignment instructions for customers who want IT-controlled Microsoft OAuth access without Enterprise SAML/SCIM

Google and Microsoft social sign-in authenticate users, but they do not grant workspace access by themselves. ContractRabbit still enforces invitations, verified-domain policy, roles, and seat limits.

Enterprise Identity

Enterprise identity setup is read-only in the customer app. Customer admins can view:

• Enterprise connection status
• Configured domains
• SCIM status
• Role mapping status
• Last sync and last check timestamps
• Open identity connection issues

SAML certificates, SCIM bearer tokens, and Microsoft secrets are not exposed in the customer UI.

AI Models

Configure workspace model selection and BYOK/BYOM settings where your plan allows it.

API Keys

Create and manage API keys for programmatic access to ContractRabbit data and workflows.

Data Management

Manage your stored data:

• View total file storage count
• Delete all documents — Permanently remove all documents from your workspace (requires confirmation)

Review Policy

Set the default review and editing behavior across your workspace:

• Direct Edit — Changes apply immediately to the document's version history
• Track Changes — Changes are tracked and require reviewer approval before being applied
• Escalation defaults for issue severity, assignees, and SLA timing

Individual matters can override this default from their detail page.

Fine-Tuning

Configure exclusion rules to customize document analysis:

• Add rules that exclude specific phrases from analysis
• Filter rules by document type and clause type
• Assign part-of-speech tags to exclusion phrases for precision
• Search, paginate, edit, and delete rules from the table

Exclusion rules are useful for suppressing false positives — for example, excluding boilerplate language that doesn't need to be flagged during review.

Audit

View a complete log of actions taken in your workspace:

• User — Who performed the action
• Action — What was done
• Entity type and name — What was affected (with direct links)
• Timestamp — When it happened

Filter the log by user and sort or paginate through results.
