Dashboard
Your personalized home screen with customizable widgets, natural language analytics, and quick access to key features.
Overview
The Dashboard is the first screen you see after signing in. It gives you a snapshot of your recent work and quick access to key features through a customizable widget layout.
Default widgets
Activity Overview
A bar chart showing your activity over time — how many documents you've uploaded, reviewed, or modified. Use this to track engagement patterns across your team.
Recent Activity
A live feed of recent actions in your workspace, including document uploads, status changes, and team activity.
Matters
Shows your active and pending matters with document counts and lifecycle stage badges. You can:
- Switch between Active and Pending tabs
- See how many documents are assigned vs. total in each matter
- Click a matter to navigate directly to its detail page
- Create a new matter inline with name, description, and party fields
Agent Chats
Lists your five most recent AI agent conversations with timestamps. Click any chat to resume the conversation, or start a new one from the empty state.
Integrations
Shows the status of available integrations (e.g., Microsoft Word Add-in). See which integrations are connected and which are available to set up.
Custom widgets with natural language
Click Add Widget and describe the analytics you want in plain English. ContractRabbit generates a widget configuration automatically using your actual available attribute paths and document types.
Examples:
- "Show me contracts expiring in the next 90 days"
- "Average contract value by document type"
- "Distribution of governing law jurisdictions"
- "Count of NDAs by month for the last year"
Widget types
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Stat Card | Single aggregated value — sum, average, min, max, count, or median of any attribute |
| Bar Chart | Histogram or aggregation over an attribute, with configurable operations |
| Data Table | Multi-column tabular view with filters and custom column definitions |
Template widgets are also available for common patterns: soon-expiring documents, documents by type, and recent uploads.
Because widgets query pre-extracted structured attributes (not raw document text), results are precise — "average non-compete duration" runs a real SQL aggregation, not an LLM estimate.
Customizing your dashboard
- Drag and drop any widget to rearrange the layout
- Resize widgets by dragging their edges
- Hide default widgets you don't need — your preferences are saved
- Delete custom widgets from their dropdown menu
Layout changes persist across sessions, so your dashboard stays exactly how you set it up.
