Board

Overview

The Work Board is a kanban-style interface that shows all your documents organized by lifecycle stage. Drag and drop cards to move documents through your pipeline.

Lifecycle stages

Documents flow through these columns from left to right:

1. Drafting — Document is being created or edited
2. Internal Review — Under review by your team
3. Counterparty Review — Sent to the other party for review
4. Final Version — Terms are agreed, awaiting execution
5. Executed — Fully signed and in effect

Grouping

Switch between two views using the group toggle:

• By Matter — Documents grouped under their assigned matter, with a "No Matter" section for unassigned documents
• By User — Documents grouped by assigned team member, with an "Unassigned" section

Display controls

• Search — Filter cards by document name or content
• Card size — Adjust between Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large
• Column visibility — Toggle specific lifecycle stages on or off
• Hide empty groups — Reduce clutter by hiding groups with no documents

Your display preferences are saved locally and persist across sessions.

Drag and drop

• Move between stages — Drag a card from one column to another to update its lifecycle stage
• Move between groups — Drag a card to a different matter or user to reassign it
• Changes are saved immediately

Bulk actions

Select multiple documents using the checkboxes on each card, then use the floating toolbar at the bottom to:

• Move selected documents to a different lifecycle stage
• Assign / Unassign selected documents to team members
